Important Amendments To ICPAS' Constitution

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore is amending its Constitution. An overwhelming majority of about 90 percent of members at an Extraordinary General Meeting on August 27, 2011 voted for the amendments. The amendments will be submitted to the Registrar of Societies for approval.
The amendments are in line with recommendations by the Committee to Develop the Accountancy Sector in its report “Transforming Singapore into a Leading Global Accountancy Hub for Asia Pacific". Find out what are the key amendments that will be made to the ICPAS' Constitution.

ICPAS-ICAEW EC Green Paper on Audit Policy Forum (Limited Seats!)

ICPAS and ICAEW will jointly organise the ICPAS-ICAEW EC Green Paper on Audit Policy Forum on 9 September 2011, convening a distinguished line up of experts from ACRA, the Big Four, ICAEW, SID and ICPAS to discuss “The Future of Global Audit” and various other issues raised in the EC Green Paper on Audit Policy. Managing Tax Compliance

Many tax authorities have recently increased enforcement on tax compliance and reporting. Managing tax compliance and reporting is therefore an important part of overall tax risk management by businesses.

The Tax Academy of Singapore and Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals are pleased to present this seminar on Managing Tax Compliance on 16 September  where speakers from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore will provide you with an overview of IRAS’ tax compliance framework for corporations and the transfer pricing consultation programme.
