Yes, the test will be in the form of a project work which tests participants on their competency in the features learnt throughout the 4-day course. A Certificate of Competency will be issued to participants who have passed the project assessment. What does the project work involve and is it easy to pass it? The project work is nothing more than an unsupervised assignment involving the skills, knowledge and report generating mentality gained throughout the 4-day course. Participants are also encouraged to adopt their real-life situation so that they can put what they learnt into practice immediately. This way, they will be able to see for themselves the effectiveness and usefulness of the BAR course. As such, the project work is not really tough and most participants should be able to clear it without much difficulty. How do I decide if I require the 1-day Advance Excel for Financial Reporting Course? It is a pre-requisite for BAR participants who do not meet more than 70% of the self-assessment for the proficiency in Advanced Excel features. For those who have met the self-assessment requirements, but still wish to attend this additional 1-day course, it will be available to them as well.
