The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer the ICAEW's internationally recognised Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification in Singapore.
The ACA, regarded worldwide as a leading financial business qualification, provides relevant and non-accounting graduates a pathway to the accounting profession. It also allows mid-year career switch for those considering accountancy as a career.
The ACA qualification is unique in bringing together technical knowledge, practical application, work experience and best practice. The programme incorporates ICPAS Singapore tax and law papers at the Professional Stage, ensuring it has global recognition as well as local relevance.

* Papers offered by ICPAS.
Training
There are two stages of the ACA qualification:
1) The Professional Stage;
2) The Advanced Stage.
There are 15 modules in total across the two stages.
ACA training combines academic study (examinations and classroom study) and structured work experience which gives you real-world practice and training in ethical judgement and behavior. Typically, ACA training takes between three and five years.
